S Rostropovich is undoubtedly the most exclusive boat of our fleet on the Volga River. It was built in the Czech Republic in 1980 and completely renovated in 2011 in accordance with the highest standards of comfort and functionality. The impressive Atrium of the ship surprises passengers with luminosity and elegance upon arrival. The carefully designed and decorated cabins become the "Home, Sweet Home" for our guests during the cruise. The two on-board restaurants offer an exquisite and elaborate international cuisine with a traditional Russian touch. The cosy bars invite you to immerse yourself in their relaxing and informal atmosphere, captivating the guests with live music.

Welcome to St. Petersburg, one of the most beautiful cities. Known as the cultural capital of Russia St.Petersburg allures people from all over the world by its enigmatic mixture of purely European architecture and typically Russian history. Disclose the secrets of St. Petersburg by visiting the Peter and Paul’s Fortress where the Romanov dynasty is buried, St. Isaak’s Cathedral, Smolny Cathedral and seeing the richest art collection of the Hermitage Museum. Take a chance to go for a stroll in the kingdom of fountains, that used to be a luxurious summer residence called Peterhof.

Breakfast, Dinner & Lunch in the village (BBQ)

The village of Verkhnie Mandrogy is situated on the shore of the picturesque Svir River which is the only river connecting Europe’s largest lakes; the Ladoga and the Onega. This village is one of the most beautiful and environmentally sound places in the Leningrad region built in 1996 on the place of an ancient settlement as the original project of the Russian national village. The tour will combine active leisure and fresh air with ancient traditional Russian interiors inside the "traktir" or "izba" (tavern and house). You will also venture to a unique Vodka Museum. During the stay you can visit Remeslennaya Sloboda (an art studio) to get acquainted with the traditional Russian handicrafts of wood painting (including Matryoshka doll painting), wood cutting, weaving, pottery and lace-making. You will have a chance to take a master class in any of the craft shops. Both children and adults will enjoy this activity and will take home some memorable handmade souvenirs.

KIZHI - Open-air museum of wooden architecture>

Today our ship arrives at Kizhi situated in the Republic of Karelia. The nature of Karelia is severe, but magnificent. This is a land of woods, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, granite cliffs. There are over 60 thousand lakes. The largest European lakes Ladoga and Onega, which you go through during the cruise, are among them. No wonder for centuries people have been considering both as seas. The island Kizhi first gained significance in the 14th century as a trade spot on the route between the White Sea and the merchant-dominated city of Novgorod. Some of the typical and most impressive examples of 19th-century peasant architecture were collected all over the Karelian region and installed in Kizhy. The major structure is the breathtaking Church of the Transfiguration built in 1714, with its 22 onion-domed cupolas.

GORITSY - Monastery of St. Cyril on the White Lake, museum of icons>

Today we arrive at Goritsy, the tiny settlement in Vologda Region, in 7 kilometres from the famous Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery. From the board you can admire the Goritsy nunnery, situated in a picturesque place among forests and fields, which impresses with its beauty and organic relevance within the landscapes. The Kirillo-Belosersky monastery, considered to be one of the greatest centres of Russia`s religious life, was founded in the end of the 14th century by the member of the Russian Orthodox Church Kirill Belozersky. People believed that the monastery was blessed to work wonders.

UGLICH - Walking city tour with the visit to the territory of the Kremlin, Dmitry on the Blood Church, Transfiguration Cathedral>

Uglich could be called a small residence of Russian princes in the 13th Century. In the 16th Century Prince (Tsarevich) Dmitry the last Prince of the Ryurik Dynasty was murdered here by nobleman Boris Godunov, who came to power after the prince`s death. This terrible event caused the beginning of well-known Time of Trouble, which ended with a new dynasty of Romanovs. We will visit the small but historically significant church of St. Dmitry-on-Blood, built in 1690 on the very place where Dmitry had been murdered.

Moscow is the largest economic, political and scientific center of Russia with almost 11 million inhabitants. During your stay in this fabulous city you will know the history of the city and visit many unique places of interest; the most recognizable symbol of Moscow- the Kremlin, famous Red Square and magnificent ensemble of Saint Basil`s cathedral.

MM Rostopovich (also known as AmaKatarina), named after famous Russian cellist and conductor Mstislav Rostopovich, is one of the most luxurious ships on the Russian waterways which can be compared to a 5* hotel. It is a top range four - deck vessel built in 1980 in Czechoslovakia, and completely redesigned and renovated in 2009. This modern ship is equipped with high-tech navigational facilities. It has several cabin categories ranging from standard double cabins to most luxurious imperial suite. All ship cabins are outward facing with a big picture window and provide bathroom with a separate shower, individually controlled air-conditioning, mini fridge, hair dryer, safe, flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels. Most cabins have outside balconies. Extra spacious suites have a separated sitting area with a sofa and chairs The ship public areas include an expansive panorama lounge with a bar; conference hall for onboard lectures and entertainment; fitness room with solarium, hair salon, medical room with onboard doctor. There is a lift serving all decks. Wi-Fi access is available in panorama lounge.
